How to: step-by-step

  1. Select the PDF and go to the required page.
  2. Choose Text Field, Checkbox, Date or Signature, then place the item.
  3. Draw a signature in the signature option or upload one; use Move / Select and size controls to adjust items.
  4. Save and check that entries align with the form lines and boxes.

Tips for better results

  • Use a consistent font size for related entries.
  • Check every completed page before sending the form.

Common pitfalls

  • A drawn or uploaded signature is not a certificate-based digital signature.
  • Placed marks do not turn the source into an interactive form template.

Worked example

Example: on a one-page application, place your name beside the Name label, a checkmark inside the required box and a signature above the signature line. Save, reopen and zoom in on all three areas. Ask the recipient whether a visible signature is acceptable for that form.
